Etsy Order: Toddler dresses

A client from Mississippi order 2 outfits for her daughters sometime ago. They were to be worn in the annual Pilgrimage tours held in in Columbus, Mississippi. So they aren't really accurate to one time frame...

...but here's what we came up with. :)

For Nora's I use a basic yoked bodice pattern, with a puff sleeves which I put elastic on the bottom of to form a ruffle, a square cut skirt, with a ruffle on the bottom... Pretty simple over all... :)

And the back.

On Alliene's I used a very simple yoked dress base. Then just did puff sleeves this time with an actual band on the bottom.

Back....

Onto the 'bloomers'. The pattern for these is basically a sloper with some width added. There's elastic in the waist and 2 rows of lace on the hem...

And last, but not least we have the adorable little girls....

They turned out pretty cute if I may say so myself. I kinda hated to send them off. :D

Love,
Brooke

*sorry for the poor quality of the photos. My main photographer was working when I made these. So the lightning was never right when she was home. Which meant I had to take them. :S lol

You are more than welcome :D.. I must admit it would have killed me just to sew them knowing you can't keep 'em.. let alone box them and mail them :(.. Guess more are on the docket for your hope chest, right? *wink*.. Any girl would feel like a princess in a dress like that! I sure would have when I was that young...
But I had moms amish aprons to dress up and get my picture taken and that had to do for then.. sniff, sadly I didn't have you to make me ones like "this"!
You're amazingly talented dressmaker ya know! Those girls are lucky and thats all there is to it!
